Josh’s relationship with music started in the family house, with his father being a professional musician and his mother a lover of art and working in the music industry.

Surrounded by music and the drums , Josh then at age 5 stated committing himself to the instrument and piano soon followed. His passion only flourished and so he started performing with bands and projects playing all around Essex and London from 8 years old.

Jazz became the source of creativity and sought inspiration from musicians such as Max Roach, Tony Willams, Jack DeJohnette,
and modern contemporaries such as Billy Drummond, Mark Guiliana and Eric Harland.
